The significant increase in imports of passenger cars into Ukraine in the last months of 2025 was due to information about the cancellation of VAT benefits for the import of electric cars from January 1, 2026, while their imports have significantly decreased since the beginning of this year. Instead, a slow but gradual recovery of the passenger car market, including electric cars, began in March.
