Zelenskyy awards Svyrydenko order following her resignation as prime minister

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded former Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko (2025–2026) the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 5th Class. This is stated in a decree issued by the head of state.

Svyrydenko was honored “for significant contributions to strengthening Ukrainian statehood, for the courage and dedication she demonstrated in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, for her substantial personal contribution to the development of various spheres of public life, and conscientious performance of his professional duties.”

Former Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal also received the Order of Yaroslav the Wise.

As a reminder, on July 12, Zelenskyy stated that he had offered Svyrydenko the opportunity to lead a new initiative in relations with a key partner.

On July 13, Svyrydenko submitted her resignation. On July 14, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Svyrydenko from her post.
