The National Identity School program was presented in Ukraine, - Gnat Korobko

The program content of the National Identity School, which is designed to strengthen existing state mechanisms by helping teachers, communities and institutions, was presented in Ukraine. This was announced by Gnat Korobko, a patron and co-author of the Know Your Ukraine project, who is one of the co-creators of the initiative.

"The first open presentation of the National Identity School program took place in early July. The project involves the creation of programs that strengthen the culture of identity, as well as support for teaching and promotion of the strategic development of communities," said Gnat Korobko.

He noted that the project team presented the structure of the future program for educators and the methodology for developing civic resilience through national and civic identity.

"During the meeting, the team first presented not only the structure of the future program of the School for educators, but also a much broader concept – the methodology for developing civic resilience through national and civic identity.", - noted Gnat Korobko.

According to him, the project will, among other things, help children and youth returning from the occupation.

"Today, there are a lot of challenges in this issue. For example, helping children and youth returning from deportation or occupation and who have been under the influence of hostile propaganda for a long time. Or those who are experiencing an identity crisis for other reasons. Therefore, when we talk about work in different sectors — youth, educational or others — we should always have in our treasury tools that help work on the establishment of Ukrainian national identity," – emphasized Gnat Korobko.

More than 460 teachers, experts, government representatives and civil society representatives from 24 regions of Ukraine took part in the presentation of the School.

The project is implemented by the Coalition of organizations and experts in the fields of education, culture, philosophy, facilitation, civic participation and community development. The development of the program for educators is carried out with the support of the Fedor Shpyg Charitable Foundation.
