Air Defense Forces neutralize 114 of 137 enemy drones overnight, hits at 16 locations

On the night of Friday, July 10, russian troops launched 137 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to neutralize 114 of them.

This was announced by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of July 10 (from 06:00 pm on July 9), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 137 Shahed attack UAVs (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas, loitering ammunition Banderol and simulator drones of the Parody type from the directions: Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - RF) and from occupied Donetsk.

"According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 am, air defenses shot down/suppressed 114 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the message says.

18 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 16 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at 4 locations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of July 8, the russians launched 2 missiles and 94 strike drones over Ukraine, and the air defense forces managed to shoot down 72 drones.
