The Tvernefteprodukt oil depot in Tver, located north of Moscow, was also attacked that same night. Videos posted on social media show a large-scale fire: flames engulfed at least one of the fuel tanks, and thick smoke rose above the area.

Russian authorities have not yet reported the extent of the damage or possible casualties.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces regularly strike russian oil refining and fuel infrastructure. Such facilities are considered legitimate military targets, as they provide fuel to the russian army, which is waging a war against Ukraine.

As a reminder, on July 6, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked an oil refinery in the Omsk Oblast of the aggressor country, russia. This enterprise is located almost 2,500 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine.
