Government orders allocation of UAH 3 billion for housing reconstruction in Vyshneve
The Cabinet of Ministers has ordered the allocation of UAH 3 billion for the reconstruction of housing in Vyshneve, Kyiv Region, following the enemy shelling on July 6. Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced this on her Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
“The government has instructed the relevant ministries to immediately prepare a decision to allocate UAH 3.04 billion from the reserve fund to support the community of Vyshneve in the Kyiv Region in order to address the consequences of the enemy shelling on July 6,” she said.
According to Svyrydenko, the funds will be used to pay compensation for destroyed or damaged housing, rebuild destroyed homes, carry out major repairs on high-rise buildings, and restore utility networks.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 6 in Vyshneve, Kyiv Region, a massive enemy attack created a risk of secondary detonation of explosive devices.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Security Service of Ukraine and intelligence agencies to thoroughly investigate the events in Vyshneve, Kyiv Region.
Svyrydenko previously reported that as a result of the russian attack on the night of July 6 in Vyshneve, Kyiv Region, the most extensive destruction of residential areas since the start of the full-scale invasion was recorded, with 13 hectares of residential buildings damaged.
According to Mykola Kalashnyk, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, 253 private homes were damaged in Vyshneve, along with 27 apartment buildings, where 1,692 windows were shattered.
