The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) struck the “Kuban–Crimea” power bridge, through which electricity is supplied to occupied Crimea from the territory of the aggressor country, russia. The commander of the USF, Major Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, reported this on Wednesday, July 8.

According to him, this power bridge is a key energy facility in terms of electricity supply to the occupied peninsula. It is 14.5 kilometers long and consists of four underwater cable lines.

Ukrainian drones attacked the PP-2 “Crimea” transition point, which receives the aforementioned underwater cables and transfers them to overhead power lines.

"Madyar" emphasized that since the beginning of July, the USF operators have struck 50 energy facilities in Crimea and in the occupied territories of the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson Regions.

In a video published by the USF commander, it can be seen that Ukrainian drones also struck several other energy facilities in Crimea today. Among them are the “Nizhnegorsk” (in the town of Nizhnegorsk) and “Nasosna” (in Zelenyi Yar) power substations, as well as a transformer in Novotroitske.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 2, it became known that water supply restrictions had begun in the occupied Crimea amid power outages caused by strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on energy facilities.

We also reported that the “Atesh” partisan movement claimed that the occupation administrations of Kerch and Feodosia were allegedly preparing to transport documents out of the peninsula.

As a reminder, the russians conducted command-and-staff exercises during which they simulated repelling a Ukrainian amphibious landing in Crimea.
