At night, air defense downed one of the two Zircon and all six Iskander-M, there is missile hit - AFU Air Force

On the night of June 28, the russians attacked Ukraine with anti-ship and ballistic missiles, as well as drones. Air defense shot down one of the two Zircon launched by the enemy, as well as all six Iskander-M. Missile hits and 14 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

From 06:00 pm on June 27 and during the night of June 28, the enemy attacked:

• 2 anti-ship missiles Zircon/Oniks from the Kursk Oblast,
• 6 ballistic missiles Iskander-M/S-400 from the Bryansk Oblast,
• 142 strike UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas and simulator drones of the Parody type from the directions: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - RF, TOT Donetsk, Hvardiyske - TOT AR Crimea.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 am, air defense systems shot down/suppressed:

• 1 Zircon/Oniks anti-ship missile,
• 6 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles,
• 125 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas UAVs and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country.

"A missile hit and 14 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragments) at 13 locations," the Ukrainian Armed Forces Air Force reported.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

At the same time, the agency warned that the enemy attack was ongoing as of this morning, and several UAVs were recorded in the airspace.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of June 28, the russian occupiers shelled the city of Kyiv, in particular, using ballistic missiles. As a result of the attack, fires were reported in the Darnytsia district of the city, as well as two casualties.
