SSU strikes Vtorovo oil pumping station, which supplies fuel to Moscow for the second time in month
Fighters of the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) have successfully struck the Vtorovo linear production and dispatching station in the Vladimir Oblast (russia), which supplies fuel to Moscow.
This was announced by the SSU press service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"According to preliminary information, SSU drones hit the technical buildings of the facility, after which a detonation occurred," the report says.
This station is part of the Transneft-Upper Volga JSC and is a key logistics hub for pumping light oil products to export ports and domestic consumers.
Diesel fuel is transported through it to the Moscow ring oil products pipeline, and from there to large oil depots around Moscow.
The station also provides supplies of petroleum products for export through the ports of the Baltic Sea.
It is noted that today was the second attack on "Vtorovo", the previous attack by SSU drones on this facility was carried out on June 10 of this year.
The Ukrainian special services emphasized that each affected facility is a reduction in resources for waging war and a higher price that the Kremlin is forced to pay for continuing aggression.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 10, special forces of the SSU Alpha struck the oil pumping stations "Vtorovo" and "Lobkovo" in the Vladimir Oblast of the russian federation, the distance to which is about 700 km.
