Additional route for tourist buses opened on border with Romania
An additional route for tourist buses has been opened on the border with Romania through the "Diakivtsi - Rakovets" checkpoint.
It was announced by the State Border Guard Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The State Border Guard Service notes that with the beginning of the tourist season, a significant increase in passenger and transport flow has been recorded at checkpoints in the Chernivtsi Region, especially for tourist buses, the number of which increases several times in the summer.
"Given that the Ukrainian-Romanian border remains the most popular direction, an agreement has been reached with the neighboring party on the introduction of temporary passage of buses of any size and capacity through the "Diakivtsi - Rakovets" checkpoint. The movement of buses through this checkpoint is technically possible only in the direction of departure from Ukraine and will be valid until the end of the summer of this year," the message says.
To cross the border, bus drivers must register in the electronic system eQueue and arrive at the checkpoint at the time specified by the system.
The State Border Guard Service notes that the opening of an alternative route for passenger buses will allow other checkpoints on the state border with Romania to be unloaded and will make border crossing more comfortable and faster.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in May, the State Border Guard Service launched the "Personal Account" service, from now on Ukrainians can independently and quickly find out whether they have temporary restrictions on traveling abroad.
