Officers of russian Black Sea Fleet fleeing Crimea with their families - ATESH
The command of the russian Black Sea Fleet plans to relocate the remaining administrative offices to Novorossiysk. Some officers have already begun the move without waiting for orders—they are relocating their families and settling into their new homes in Novorossiysk.
It was reported by the ATESH military-partisan movement.
"ATESH agents report that plans are being developed within the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s headquarters to relocate the remaining command structures from Sevastopol to Novorossiysk. Former deployment sites on the peninsula, including the aviation headquarters on Gogol Street, are gradually losing their functionality—and the command is seeking a solution," the statement reads.
The partisans recalled that on May 27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the aviation headquarters of the russian Black Sea Fleet on Gogol Street in Sevastopol. It is noted that since then, strikes on the peninsula have only intensified, and the logistical situation for the occupiers in Crimea has drastically worsened.
According to ATESH informants within the military, some officers are already dealing with the practicalities of relocation without waiting for official orders: they are moving their families, disposing of property they cannot take with them, and settling into a new location in Novorossiysk.
"The mood among the fleet’s leadership is gloomy—those who truly understand what is happening prefer not to delay," the partisans added.
The movement calls the relocation of command structures a logical consequence of systematic pressure on the fleet’s infrastructure in Crimea. Maintaining command structures on the peninsula is becoming an increasingly expensive and risky decision for the occupiers.
"Judging by how the situation is developing, the coming months could be the toughest for the occupying forces in Crimea since the war began," concluded ATESH.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, meanwhile, on June 7 and 9, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Chonhar Bridge using Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles. As a result of the attacks, the structure sustained critical damage, and traffic across it was suspended.
And on the night of June 10–11, the Ukrainian military attacked four road bridges across the North Crimean Canal at once, and also struck a cluster of trucks in the area of Armiansk in the northern Crimea.
