Russian troops attacked Konotop in the Sumy Region during the night and early morning of June 11, leaving the city without electricity and water. Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin has reported this on Telegram.

The drone attack on the city began around 1:00 a.m. By 7:00 a.m., another strike on infrastructure was recorded, which damaged the gas supply network, leaving part of the city without gas, and also damaged residential buildings. In addition, a hit on a transportation infrastructure facility was recorded.

Due to damage to energy facilities, the city is without power, and water is currently being supplied on a schedule. Local authorities are urging residents to stock up on water.

A woman born in 1984 was injured in the shelling, sustaining a shrapnel wound to her leg. Doctors provided her with medical care on site, and she is currently receiving outpatient treatment. Emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes to address the damage and restore utility services.
