Dictator vladimir putin has ordered the security services of the aggressor state, the russian federation, to step up "counterterrorism efforts," particularly at children's summer camps. It was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).

In addition, according to the CCD, he stated the "need to strengthen security" across russia’s entire educational and social system, citing an incident in the temporarily occupied city of Starobilsk, which the russian side is attempting to use to promote a narrative about Ukraine’s alleged "terrorist acts."

"Particular attention is drawn to the fact that these statements were made against the backdrop of Putin’s previous instructions to the military leadership regarding preparations for a ‘response to terrorist attacks.’ "In this way, the Kremlin is systematically constructing a narrative designed to justify further escalation of the war and possible new strikes under the pretext of 'fighting terrorism,'" the Center emphasized.

Earlier, the Center for Countering Disinformation wrote about a large-scale, coordinated disinformation campaign by the aggressor state, the russian federation, surrounding the strike on the temporarily occupied Starobilsk, the goal of which was to create a propaganda myth about a “Ukrainian crime” that the kremlin could use to “justify” its aggressive war and intensify terror against Ukraine’s civilian population.

"At the same time, it is Russia that continues to carry out systematic attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, residential neighborhoods, and educational and medical facilities. Against this backdrop, the Kremlin’s attempts to impose its own version of events appear as yet another element of information cover for Russian aggression and an attempt to shift responsibility for the consequences of the war onto Ukraine,” the Center emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation, russia is preparing a legal justification for new military incursions.
