In 2025, Ukrposhta suffered losses for fourth year in a row

In 2025, Ukrposhta, the national postal operator, ended the year with an after-tax loss of UAH 206.551 million.

This is stated in Ukrposhta’s financial report.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that the company has reported a loss. The last time Ukrposhta ended the year with a profit was in 2021.

However, in 2025, compared to 2024, the national postal operator reduced its loss by 50%, or UAH 206.653 million.

The company’s net revenue in 2025 increased by 1.1% compared to 2024, totaling UAH 13.118 billion.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2024, compared to 2023, the Ukrposhta joint-stock company reduced its losses by 48.1%, or UAH 383.157 million, to UAH 413.204 million.

Smilianskyi previously noted that his total pre-tax income, including his salary and a 15% allowance for access to state secrets, amounts to UAH 11,723,286 per year—an average of UAH 970,009 per month, which exceeds, for example, the salary of the US president.
