In three months, Anthropic's valuation has increased by about 2.5 times - previously it was USD 380 billion. The company was founded in 2021 and has surpassed the period it took OpenAI to reach similar scale in terms of growth.

The growth of the business is associated with the development of programming tools. After updating the technologies for writing code in November, hundreds of companies began to pay for access to its software. Anthropic claims that the projected annual revenue based on current figures this month exceeded USD 47 billion.

Separately, the activity of the company's CEO Dario Amodei is recorded, who has repeatedly publicly emphasized the risks of artificial intelligence and called for its regulation. This is accompanied by discussions with the Pentagon on the use of AI in the military sphere, including a lawsuit against the Pentagon and its head Hegseth.

The most popular generative AI service so far remains OpenAI's ChatGPT, which is used by about 900 million people every month - nearly 10% of the world's population. It is 2.7 times more popular than its nearest competitor in terms of monthly traffic.
