FAB-250 dropped on high-rise building in Druzhkivka: woman killed and five more people injured
On May 24, russian troops dropped a FAB-250 aerial bomb on a high-rise building in Druzhkivka, Donetsk Region. The strike killed a 70-year-old woman and injured five other people.
It was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
On May 24 at 6:26 p.m., russian forces struck Druzhkivka. A FAB-250 aerial bomb hit a high-rise building.
According to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 70-year-old pensioner was killed. A man and four women aged 40, 44, 45, 69, and 73 were injured. They sustained blast injuries.
The prosecutor’s office specified that the bomb was equipped with a unified planning and correction module (UPCM), which attaches to free-fall aerial bombs and converts them into guided ones.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched in criminal proceedings regarding a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As a reminder, on the night of Saturday, May 24, russian occupation forces struck Bila Tserkva with an Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile.
