216 combat clashes take place at front during day, most of them in Pokrovsk and Huliaipole Axes

On May 22, 216 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked the most in the Pokrovsk (42 clashes) and Huliaipole (32) Axes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 83 air strikes, dropped 264 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy used 9,753 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,195 shelling on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, including 34 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

On May 22, 216 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk Axes, there were 6 clashes, the enemy carried out 81 shelling of troop positions and settlements, in particular one using multiple launch rocket systems, carried out 5 air strikes, and used 10 guided aerial bombs.

In the South-Slobozhansk Axis, 7 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Ternove, Hraniv, and Novovasylivka.

In the Kupyansk Axis, defenders stopped 5 enemy attacks near the settlements of Hlushkivka and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman Axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Torske, Ozerne, Drobysheve, Dibrova, Yampil, and Lyman.

In the Slovyansk Axis, defenders stopped 3 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Zakitne and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, 2 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Nykyforivka and Tykhonivka.

In the Kostiantynivka Axis, the enemy carried out 16 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Novodmytrivka and Stepanivka.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the defenders stopped 42 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Vilne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Toretske, Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Kucheriv Yar, Novopavlivka and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka Axis, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Verbove and Zaporizke.

In the Huliaipole Axis, 32 attacks by the invaders were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Nove Zaporizhzhia, Zlahoda, Solodke, Staroukrainka, Dobropillia, Hirke, Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostiantynivka and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the enemy did not conduct active operations.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, Ukrainian units stopped 2 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Hola Prystan and Zaplava.

Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit a command post, nine areas of personnel concentration and an enemy artillery system.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 22 amounted to 950 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 21, 253 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most frequently in the Pokrovsk (52 clashes), Huliaipole (28), and Kostiantynivka (25) Axes.
