The ministry of defense of the aggressor country, the russian federation, has launched a media campaign to recruit students of technical specialties for the war against Ukraine. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD).

According to the CCD, videos about young people who dropped out of school to serve in unmanned troops have begun to appear on the department's official resources. Propaganda romanticizes this process, comparing the control of drones to the "flight of a bird" or video games.

"Such agitation clearly indicates the Kremlin's priorities: the aggressor state needs "cannon fodder" more than future engineers or programmers. The Kremlin regime has finally transferred higher education to the war service mode, and considers students exclusively as consumables to replenish the army's losses," the Center emphasizes.

Earlier, the Center reported that aggressive recruitment into unmanned forces is currently actively underway not only in russia, but also in higher education institutions in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
