The ATESH guerrillas burned a diesel locomotive involved in transporting oil cargo in St. Petersburg (russia).

The ATESH guerrilla movement announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The movement's agents conducted a successful operation in St. Petersburg - by setting fire, they disabled a diesel locomotive involved in transporting oil cargo and ensuring the supply chains of the region's industrial and energy infrastructure.

It is emphasized that the northwestern direction remains an important element of the transport system related to the supply of fuel and raw materials.

"Any failure at the junction points leads to delays in fuel and raw material supplies. Industrial enterprises in the region directly depend on these chains. Moreover, Ust-Luga is located nearby - one of the key centers for the export of oil and petroleum products. Any disruptions in the transport system immediately affect the entire industry: factories do not receive raw materials, ports do not receive cargo, and regional supplies begin to fail," ATESH said.

It is emphasized that even in the deep rear, russia's critical infrastructure remains vulnerable and there are no longer any safe places.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to Reuters, the Ryazan Oil Refinery in the russian federation suspended production activities after a successful attack by Ukrainian drones that took place last week.
