Visa appoints Serhii Martynchuk as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager in Ukraine
Visa has announced the appointment of Serhii Martynchuk as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Ukraine, Moldova, Southeast Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
This was stated in the company's statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Martynchuk will work in Kyiv and will be responsible for overall operations and implementation of Visa's strategy in 17 countries.
In this position, Serhii Martynchuk replaced Kristina Dorosh, who moved to a new global role in Visa's Value-Added Services division and recently moved to San Francisco (USA), where the company's headquarters are located.
Martynchuk will focus on strengthening cooperation with financial institutions, merchants, technology and government partners, as well as further developing digital payments in the region.
Serhii Martynchuk has about 20 years of management experience in the region and previously held leadership roles at Cisco. He has an academic education in computer science and finance.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Visa has been working with banks, merchants, and government agencies in Ukraine for over 30 years to build a modern, secure, and inclusive digital payments ecosystem.
Visa's regional headquarters is located in Ukraine, serving as a hub for the implementation of advanced global payment technologies in 17 countries.
