RF attack Dnipropetrovsk Region with missiles and drones, there are injuries and hits on infrastructure
On the night of May 5, the russian occupation army carried out a large-scale combined attack on the Dnipropetrovsk Region, using missiles, air bombs, artillery and kamikaze drones. In total, the enemy struck five districts of the region more than 20 times, which led to the destruction of civilian infrastructure and injuries to civilians. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
In Dnipro, three private houses and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged by enemy strikes. Fires broke out at the arrival sites, which were quickly extinguished by rescuers. A 62-year-old man was seriously injured in the attack and hospitalized in critical condition; in total, two victims were recorded in the region.
Despite the significant number of enemy targets, the air defense units of the East Air Command demonstrated high efficiency, destroying 26 drones in the sky over the region. However, it was not possible to avoid destruction in the districts. In particular, an agricultural enterprise and a gas station were hit in the Samarivskyi district, and an infrastructure facility was damaged in the Dniprovskyi district.
The terror continued in the Nikopol area, where the occupiers targeted a lyceum and private households, wounding another civilian. A church building in the Synelnykivskyi district and logistical infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih were also destroyed. Currently, specialized services continue to document the consequences of the massive shelling and assess the extent of the damage.
