Zelenskyy calls massive attack by RF on Dnipro reaction to European loan for Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the massive attack on Dnipro on Saturday, April 25, is a reaction of the aggressor country of russia to the actions of the European Union, which unblocked a EUR 90 billion loan for Ukraine.
Zelenskyy made the corresponding statement at a press conference with the President of Moldova Maia Sandu, his words are quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
He was asked what could be the reason for the concentration of air attacks by the occupiers on Dnipro recently.
"This is a reaction. In my opinion, this is the first reaction to the fact that they understand: Ukraine is not alone and there are funds for domestic production," Zelenskyy replied.
He added that the recent strikes on Dnipro are a continuation of the campaign of strikes directed against Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Zelenskyy stressed that the russians set a goal to focus on water supply and logistics after energy.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Saturday, April 25, the occupation army attacked Dnipro for more than 20 hours. The invaders used missiles and attack drones. This attack was one of the largest since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Civilian infrastructure facilities, including residential buildings, were hit. One of them was partially destroyed as a result of shelling. A few hours after the first strike, the russians struck it again.
