Every strike should remind partners of immediate action - President Zelenskyy about massive attack and strengthening of air defense
Russia attacked several regions of Ukraine at night - cities and civilian infrastructure were hit.
This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to him, as of now, at least four people are known to have been killed and more than 30 injured throughout the country.
"Almost all night long, the russians were hitting Dnipro and our other cities and communities," the President noted.
In particular, the city of Dnipro, the Chernihiv, Odesa and Kharkiv Regions were hit.
A rescue operation is underway in Dnipro after a residential building was hit - people may still be trapped under the rubble. 11 injured people are in the city's hospitals.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that the enemy's tactics are not changing: "Striking drones, cruise missiles and a significant amount of ballistics. Most of the targets are ordinary infrastructure in cities."
The attack damaged residential buildings, energy facilities and enterprises.
The President emphasized that such strikes should accelerate the partners' decisions to strengthen Ukrainian air defense.
"Each such strike should remind partners that the situation requires immediate and tough action," he said.
Also, according to the Head of State, Ukraine is counting on the rapid implementation of decisions by European countries regarding contributions to the PURL program and is preparing new sanctions steps.
"We must move towards the 21st package of European sanctions against russia," Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
