Quantitative build-up of drones no longer solves problem - Budanov
Simply increasing the number of drones no longer fundamentally solves the problem on the front lines. Kyrylo Budanov, the Head of the Office of the President, has stated this on his Telegram channel, according to the Ukrainian News agency.
"Militarily speaking, we are at a stage where increasing the number of drones no longer fundamentally solves the problem. Both we and the enemy have reached a certain peak in the use of available control technologies. The next stage is the full integration of artificial intelligence," he said.
Budanov noted that Ukraine needs to transition to autonomous systems capable of independently identifying targets and maneuvering. He added that Ukraine already has such capabilities and that they will very soon come as a surprise to the enemy.
Budanov noted that no one in the world deals with the weak; international law does not work without force; to achieve success in negotiations, Ukrainians must be strong on the battlefield and united in the rear.
The Head of the Office of the President added that Ukraine’s “oil sanctions” are working effectively and that this is not only a financial loss for the aggressor but, above all, a powerful blow to its image: the world sees that russia is no longer a reliable supplier.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Budanov believes that the free sale of weapons is impossible during the active phase of the war.
