Campus of Dnipro Polytechnic damaged in Dnipro by shelling
The National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic" suffered as a result of the russian attack on Dnipro on the night of April 15. It was reported by the press service of the educational institution.
"Our campus was hit by the attack. There is serious damage - and we will not pretend that this is just another difficulty that is easy to survive. This is a place where so many people have found themselves, their profession, their people, and it is truly painful to see it like this," the university said.
The administration of the university compared the russian attack to the events of World War II, when this building also suffered from the actions of the occupiers.
"The first building has seen worse - after the Second World War, it was raised from the ruins, and this memory has not gone away. We have already begun to restore our polytechnic - systematically, without panic, step by step," the university emphasized.
As previously reported, a residential high-rise building was also damaged as a result of the night attack on Dnipro, and three people were wounded.
