Vance calls cessation of aid to Ukraine one of main achievements of White House
US Vice President JD Vance said that he feels special pride in the administration's decision to completely stop funding and arms supplies to Ukraine. He stated this during a conversation with reporters on April 15, Clash Report reports.
According to the Vice President, such a step is a fundamental achievement of the current United States government. Vance emphasized that Washington has effectively transferred responsibility for arming Ukraine to European partners.
"One of the things I am most proud of as a representative of the administration is that we said to Europe: if you want to buy weapons, buy them, but the United States is no longer buying and sending weapons to Ukraine. We have withdrawn from this process," he emphasized.
Vance claims that the US withdrawal from the process of military support for Kyiv is a completed stage of the White House's foreign policy
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously commented on the words of US Vice President JD Vance, who the day before stated that peace talks between Ukraine and the aggressor country of russia had come down to "bargaining for a few square kilometers."
Vance also accused "certain elements" in Ukrainian special services of interfering in the elections in the US and Hungary
