In March, demand for hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) up 42% - Ukravtoprom

In March 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 3,300 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), which is 42% more than in March 2025.

This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that the share of new cars in this number was 56% compared to 60% in March last year.

In the segment of new passenger cars, the leader of the hybrid market remains Toyota Rav-4 (442 units).

The second result is Nissan Qashqai (149 units).

The third most popular is Toyota Yaris Cross (76 units).

Among imported hybrids with mileage, the Ford Escape is in first place (89 units).

Also in the top three are Ford Fusion US (88 units) and KIA Niro (75 units).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February 2026, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 2,500 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), which is 21% more than in February 2025.

In 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 31,200 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), which is 31% more than in 2024.
