Death toll among civilians in Kherson doubled in March - City Military Administration

During March, 18 civilians were killed as a result of russian strikes on Kherson, which is twice the number in February. In total, 140 people were injured during the month, including nine children. This was reported by the head of the city's military administration, Yaroslav Shanko.

According to the Administration, the enemy actively uses various types of weapons to attack civilian infrastructure. In particular, a significant number of casualties were recorded during strikes on public transport.

"As a result of just one strike by a Molniya drone on a shuttle bus, 20 people were injured at once," Shanko noted.

In addition to drone attacks, the city is regularly shelled with rocket artillery.

"After the shelling of residential areas in the Tsentralnyi district by Tornado S multiple launch rocket systems, more than 25 private houses were damaged," he noted.

Currently, the russian military continues to attack the community, using aerial bombs, missiles and strike UAVs throughout the region.

Recall that in February, the Regional Military Administration stated that the russian occupiers continue to terrorize healthcare facilities. In particular, the enemy shelled a hospital in Kherson, as a result of which two medical workers were injured.

Meanwhile, on March 11, russian terrorist forces purposefully attacked a minibus in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with a drone. It was known about 20 victims.
