Szijjártó, who regularly speaks with Lavrov, calls sanctions against russia "failure"
Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said that sanctions have caused more damage to the European Union than to the aggressor country russia. He wrote about this on his X-account on Tuesday, March 31.
Szijjártó emphasized that foreign intelligence services, with the active participation of Hungarian journalists, intercept his phone calls.
"Today have made a new “major discovery”: they proved that I say the same publicly as I do on the phone. Nice work! For four years we have been saying that sanctions are a failure, causing more harm to the EU than to Russia," Szijjártó wrote.
According to him, Hungary will not impose sanctions on individuals or companies that are important for energy security, peace or those who should not be on the sanctions list.
