The United States has unofficially offered Poland to consider deploying one of Poland's Patriot batteries to the Middle East.

It was reported by Rzeczpospolita.

According to the publication, due to Iranian retaliatory strikes, the Americans, in informal conversations with representatives of Poland, proposed to consider the possibility of deploying one of the Patriot batteries to the Middle East.

In addition, intelligence data has emerged on the possible transfer of PAC-3 MSE missiles, which have already been delivered to Poland and are the property of the Polish Armed Forces.

The spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense, Janusz Sejmej, noted that the Americans are not putting pressure on these issues.

In total, the Polish Armed Forces have two batteries of the Patriot system, which include 16 launchers. These launchers can launch, in particular, PAC-3 MSE missiles, of which, according to a contract signed in 2019, Poland ordered about 200, and most of them are already in the country.

And in 2027, deliveries of six more batteries are to begin, the contract for which Poland signed in the fall of 2023.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, according to Bloomberg, Iran's massive missile and drone strikes have led to a sharp reduction in stocks of air defense missiles in the Persian Gulf countries. First of all, we are talking about interceptor missiles for Patriot PAC-3 systems, which are actively used to repel attacks.

Meanwhile, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) air defense intercepted a ballistic missile that entered Turkish airspace from Iran.

To recap, Tehran considers Ukraine "an accomplice to the military aggression of the United States and Israel" by sending Ukrainian specialists in countering drones to the Middle East.
