Elon Musk joined a private phone call between Donald Trump and Narendra Modi to discuss the war with Iran. The reasons for his participation have not been officially explained. It is only known that the conversation concerned, in particular, the situation around the Strait of Hormuz.

It was reported by The Times of Israel.

American businessman Elon Musk unexpectedly became a participant in a closed telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to sources, the conversation took place against the backdrop of the escalating situation around Iran. The leaders discussed, in particular, the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the key routes for oil transportation in the world. It has not been officially explained why Musk was among the participants in this conversation. The White House and the businessman himself have not yet commented on this information.

At the same time, journalists point to several possible reasons. First, sovereign wealth funds from the Middle East invest in Musk's companies. Secondly, he is actively trying to expand his business in India, which may explain his interest in conversations at this level.

It is also known that Musk used to play an influential role in the Trump administration, but later, as the Ukrainian News agency informed, their relations deteriorated.

According to media reports, they have recently partially resumed contact. It is also noted that the conversation between Trump and Modi focused on the security situation in the region and possible consequences for the global energy market. Blocking the Strait of Hormuz could seriously affect oil supplies and global prices.

There are still more questions than answers. But the very fact of Musk's participation in such a conversation has already caused a significant resonance and discussions about the role of big businessmen in international politics.
