Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who arrived in France for a meeting of Foreign Ministers of the G7 countries. Sybiha reported this on his X-account on Friday, March 27.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister noted that the role of the United States in promoting peace efforts is critical, and Ukraine's proposals are feasible and realistic. According to him, more pressure is needed for the aggressor country to end the war against Ukraine.

"We also talked about the events in the Middle East. Ukraine's position is that the regimes in Moscow and Tehran are working together to continue the war. And both will have to face consolidated pressure. Ukraine's tangible assistance to the Gulf countries in protecting against Iranian terror has demonstrated our role as a security partner and participant," Sybiha emphasized.

Counteracting russian aggression should remain at the top of the international agenda, Sybiha emphasized.
