Terrorist attack in Bucha: second explosion occurred after emergency services arrived

A double explosion occurred on the morning of March 23 in Bucha, Kyiv Region, near people's homes. Windows were damaged. As a result, two law enforcement officers were injured.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the Kyiv Region Police.

A local resident reported the first explosion to the police at 5:35 am. She said that something exploded near her home, and the blast wave broke out the windows.

Law enforcement officers and rescuers arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area and warned residents. At that moment, a second explosion occurred there.

As a result, two law enforcement officers were injured - they were sent to the hospital in moderate condition. Their lives are not in danger.

The police are describing the events in Bucha as a terrorist attack.

On the night of February 22, a series of explosions occurred in Lviv, killing a 23-year-old policewoman and injuring 25 others, including National Police, National Guard, and civilians. The first explosion occurred at 00:30 am after a patrol unit arrived at a call about an alleged store robbery. The second explosion occurred at 00:43 am, when additional law enforcement officers and emergency services arrived at the scene.

On March 4, a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine, Yosyf Pavlynskyi, who was injured during the terrorist attack in Lviv on February 22, died in hospital.
