President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that there are prospects for a peaceful settlement in the war of the aggressor country of russia against Ukraine. Zelenskyy announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"I believe that there are prospects for a peaceful settlement in this war of russia against Ukraine. I understand that there are different moments: irritation, internal issues, wars. But nevertheless, we must understand: Ukraine wants peace, President Trump wants peace - therefore, we are allies on this issue and we should not even doubt it. We must go towards this goal," he noted.

At the same time, Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine wants peace much more than russian dictator vladimir putin wants, although putin is doing everything to show that he wants it, and Ukraine does not.

"These are the signals he is sending to America. This is a lie and manipulation. I really want America to believe us, because we are their partners. Even in this situation, when it was necessary to help the Middle East, we immediately responded to the request. This is a manifestation of alliance," the President noted.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine has several ideas on how to end the war and wants to share them with American partners.

"We need to look for options for a peace agreement every day. We need to meet with the Americans. We have several more ideas on how we can make this war end," he said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Zelenskyy said that in order for the army of the aggressor country, russia, not to increase, Ukraine needs to destroy 40,000-45,000 russian soldiers every month.

On March 16, Zelenskyy said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had foiled a strategic offensive operation that the army of the aggressor country, russia, planned to carry out in March.
