"Following the results of the meeting, an important decision was made - access to the market of the Republic of Moldova for frozen and chilled poultry meat of Ukrainian production from one Ukrainian business entity, which has the right to export to the European Union, has been restored," the report says.

It is noted that the next step will be the resumption of exports to Moldova for other Ukrainian producers, on which the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection of Ukraine is already working together with ANSA.

Moldova suspended imports of Ukrainian chicken in January 2026 due to complaints about the quality of feed, which the Ukrainian side called discriminatory.

As the agency reported, russian shelling of infrastructure facilities in the area of the Dniester hydroelectric power station led to a large-scale leak of technical lubricants into the Dniester River, which created a direct threat to the ecosystems of the two countries.
