Land tax is one of the important sources of filling local budgets and is used to finance the needs of communities.

According to the Tax Code, the land tax is paid by:

- owners of land plots (both individuals and companies);

- owners of land shares;

ADVERTISING

- permanent land users (those who have the right to use the land indefinitely, for example, state institutions);

- land users (those who use land of state and municipal ownership on a lease basis).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Tax Service calculates the amount for individuals by sending a notification-decision, while legal entities and individual entrepreneurs calculate the amount independently and submit a declaration.
