The Security Service of Ukraine prevented another attempt by russians to commit a terrorist attack in Rivne. The special service detained an agent of the russian aggressor country red-handed when he planted a homemade bomb near a coffee shop in the central park and then tried to flee the scene. This is said in a statement by the SSU.

According to law enforcement officers, the order of the russian federation was carried out by a drug addicted resident of Zhytomyr, recruited by the enemy. He came to the attention of the russians while looking for "money for a dose" on Telegram channels.

Later, the occupiers "sent" the recruited agent to Rivne. There, he settled in a rented apartment, where he made an improvised explosive device (IED) on the instructions of russian special services.

The SSU established that the offender disguised the explosive in a pot and equipped it with nuts to enhance its destructive effect.

After planting the IED, the occupants planned to remotely detonate it by calling a cell phone, which was wired to the bomb.
