Iran announces largest attack since war began
Iran announced the most powerful military operation since the beginning of the current conflict, during which missiles were launched at night against targets in Israel and American facilities in the region.
As CNN reports with reference to the Iranian state broadcaster IRIB, the start of the operation was announced by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. According to them, the attack included the use of various types of missiles, including long-range ballistic missiles Khorramshahr missile.
In a statement, the Iranian military emphasized: "We will continue our targeted and powerful attacks, and in the course of this war we think only about the complete surrender of the enemy."
It also added: "The war will end only when the shadow of war disappears from our country."
Meanwhile, the Pentagon said that the United States does not intend to retreat. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stressed during a briefing that the American side will continue its actions until the enemy is completely defeated, and stressed that the operations will take place according to the plan determined by the United States.
As a reminder, Trump threatened Iran with "unprecedented military consequences" if the Strait of Hormuz is mined.
