Market for imported pre-owned cars taken over by gasoline cars in February - UkrAutoprom

In February 2026, Ukrainians purchased 14,800 pre-owned passenger cars imported from abroad, which is 13% less than in the same period last year.

This is stated in the message of the Ukrautoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The largest share in this segment of the car market belonged to gasoline cars - 61% (in February 2025 they covered 46%).

Diesel cars occupy 22% (23% in February 2025) of this segment of the car market; hybrids - 8% (5% in February 2025); electric cars - 6% (22% in February 2025); cars with LPG - 3% (4% in February 2025).

The average age of pre-owned cars that switched to Ukrainian license plates in February, like last year, is 10 years.

The leader among imported pre-owned cars remains the Volkswagen Golf - 700 units.

The TOP-10 most popular models of the month also included: Audi Q5 - 642 units; Volkswagen Tiguan - 590 units; Skoda Octavia - 519 units; Nissan Rogue - 508 units; Renault Megane - 479 units; Volkswagen Passat - 352 units; Ford Escape - 326 units; Audi A4 - 304 units and Nissan Qashqai - 301 units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January 2026, Ukrainians purchased almost 3,500 pre-owned cars imported from abroad under the age of 5 years, the leader was Nissan Rogue.
