"We will remember this." Trump rebuked Britain for insufficient support in war with Iran
The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, said that the United States "does not need" the aircraft carriers of Great Britain for the operation in Iran. He criticized the country's Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, for his indecision. Trump wrote about this on his social network Truth Social.
"Great Britain, our once great ally, perhaps the greatest of all, is finally seriously considering sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East. No big deal, Prime Minister Starmer, we no longer need them - but we will remember this," Trump wrote.
The American leader added that the United States "does not need people joining wars after we have already won."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, recently, US President Donald Trump criticized Spain, calling it a "loser" and "very hostile to NATO." He also expressed disappointment with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who he said should "unquestioningly" support the US operation against Iran.
It was also reported that the UK has sent a team of military counter-drone experts to the Middle East to strengthen the protection of military bases against possible attacks from Iran.
