Ukrposhta parcels will be available in cafes, pharmacies and gas stations - Smilianskyi
Ukrposhta plans to open at least 1,000 partner outlets across Ukraine by the end of the year, allowing customers to receive mail parcels in coffee shops, pharmacies, gas stations, etc. Ihor Smilianskyi, CEO of Ukrposhta, announced this on Facebook on Thursday, March 5.
Smilianskyi noted that Ukrposhta currently has more than 690,000 partner branches around the world in 192 countries. According to him, the company is expanding this experience in Ukraine and plans to open at least 1,000 partner outlets by the end of the year.
"At the points of delivery, there will be only parcels, so there will be no queues and maximum speed. You can choose the location where you plan to go about your daily business - a gas station, supermarket, coffee shop, etc. And, of course, there will be no extra charges for convenience," the CEO wrote.
Smilianskyi also noted that the bonus is the payment for the delivery of a parcel from UAH 6 to UAH 14 and the opportunity to earn from UAH 15,000 per month per 1 point. Ukrposhta will provide the software, as well as deliver and pick up parcels. At the first stage, no terminal is needed to accept payments, all parcels will be prepaid.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 23, Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smilianskyi on social media harshly spoke about people who agree to work for the minimum wage.
