Fuel prices in Ukraine impossible to predict due to events in Middle East - Kuyun
Director of the A-95 Consulting Group Serhii Kuyun does not give forecasts of what will happen to the prices of oil, gasoline and diesel in Ukraine due to events in the Middle East.
He announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"I will not comment, because for now it will be just hype," Kuyun wrote.
He noted that no one knows the answer, because no one knows how long the war will last and how it will end.
He also added that it is not known how Iran will behave, including in the Strait of Hormuz, where 20% of the world's oil flows.
The report says that it is more or less certain that the United States and Israel have foreseen such scenarios and have a countermeasure plan.
Kuyun writes that the only thing that can be said with absolute certainty is that high prices for oil and, accordingly, gasoline are absolutely unnecessary Trump.
After all, gasoline prices in America are the number one issue for any politician.
And the same Trump went to the elections with rhetoric about reducing gasoline prices, and they, one way or another, decreased.
And therefore, Trump will do everything to prevent an increase.
Kuyun also added that this is not some ephemeral task like distant Ukraine, this is a real issue of his future.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 28, US President Donald Trump made an official statement in which he confirmed the start of a large-scale military operation against Iran.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of 40 key Iranian military commanders and all high-ranking leaders of the "Iranian axis of terror."
