Norway continues to supply the Ukrainian Defense Forces with its NASAM mobile air defense missile systems.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced this during an interview with the Norwegian TV company NRK News.

According to him, Oslo has already handed over more than a dozen NASAMS systems to Kyiv.

"Norwegian NASAMS systems have helped us a lot. I won't tell you the exact number of NASAMS we have, but there are more than ten of them, and we continue to receive them. We have also received Norwegian-made missiles for NASAMS. But even Norway's domestic stocks were not enough. And then Norway worked with other countries at the political level to provide us with additional missiles. It was very important," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

In addition, the parties also worked on the joint production of IRIS-T systems in parallel.

"And it was like a wave: when one country became more active, other true allies, like Norway, also got involved. It was very good," the head of state said.

He also added that this winter, Norway helped Ukraine with gas, which was desperately needed after russian strikes on energy infrastructure.

"And the people of Norway support these decisions. All parties in the parliament also support them. Thank you. All countries have their own internal politics, but the unity of the Norwegian parliament on Ukraine is extremely important, and we appreciate it. All these things, as well as the work on drones that we have started, and the fact that Norway is the second largest contributor to PURL, are all extremely appreciated in Ukraine," the President emphasized.
