Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has already begun work on changing the algorithm of actions when responding to a crime after the terrorist attack in Lviv, when a police officer was killed and 20 law enforcement officers were injured.

He said this at a briefing, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"We have already started doing this. We will change the algorithms of police actions. The algorithms will be clear. But they should not affect the quality of work and speed. This should not be affected," the minister said.

According to him, the updated algorithms will be used first by dog handlers and explosives experts, as well as operatives.

According to Klymenko, the algorithm of actions during the reception of applications from citizens will also change.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the woman who committed the terrorist attack in Lviv had an 18-year-old accomplice. She has already been found and detained. On the night of February 22, in the central part of Lviv, after the police arrived at a call about a break-in, explosions occurred, which took the life of a policewoman and injured 25 people. The SSU classified the incident as a terrorist attack. The alleged bomber was detained.
