Ukraine allegedly forms F-16 squadron with foreign pilots - Intelligence Online

A squadron of F-16 fighters has allegedly been formed in Ukraine in recent weeks, consisting of Ukrainian, American and Dutch pilots.

This was reported by the publication Intelligence Online.

The unit was formed in strict secrecy to work with new F-16 aircraft. The squadron is to play a prominent role in strengthening air defense, in particular over the Kyiv Region, which is regularly subjected to russian strikes.

The publication states that the foreign pilots are allegedly working on temporary contracts with rotations approximately every six months. They do not hold official positions in open staff lists.

The main tasks of the unit are air patrols and interception of targets, including cruise missiles and strike drones.

There is no official confirmation from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other Ukrainian state bodies regarding the creation of an "international squadron" and the participation of foreign pilots in combat missions in the report; the information is presented as data published by the media.

Recall that a Ukrainian combat pilot of an F-16 fighter spoke about the Ukrainian Defense Forces intercepting American aircraft, noting that more than 80% of the missiles we fired hit their targets. F-16s are used to repel russian attacks - shoot down Shaheds and missiles, as well as for flights to defeat the enemy.
