Russia uses students in occupied territories for military propaganda - CCD

The aggressor country of russia disguises military propaganda as "humanitarian activity", using students in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine as a tool for informational influence.

This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC).

Thus, the Center reports that students from the Crimean Federal University were involved in a trip to the TOT of the Donetsk Region under the guise of a "humanitarian mission".

The organizers of the trip were the structures of the "People's Front" movement founded by russian dictator vladimir putin, which systematically work in conjunction with the Kremlin's military and information machine.

The CCD notes that the key goal of such tours is to morally involve students in the war.

Through the emotionally constructed image of "students who came to the aid of civilians", the audience is imposed on the image of russia as a "savior".

In this way, propaganda is trying to justify armed aggression against Ukraine and increase support for the war among young people, the Center summarizes.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the Center, russia is replenishing its army at the expense of orphans from orphanages.
