A new stage of trilateral talks with the participation of Ukraine, the US and the russian federation has begun in the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.

According to him, the process began in a joint format, after which the delegations will move on to work in specialized groups. The final stage will be the general synchronization of positions.

"We are working within the clear directives of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to achieve a dignified and lasting peace. We inform the head of state about the progress of each stage of the negotiations," the message says.

Umerov emphasized that the Ukrainian side is acting strictly within the directives of President Zelenskyy, keeping the course for "a dignified and lasting peace."

Recall, the President also informed that a bilateral document on security guarantees with the US is ready.

Meanwhile, it became known that US President Trump's special representative, Steve Witkoff, will attend a meeting on ending the russian-Ukrainian war in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
