Ukraine will be covered by warming, but with surprise: weather forecaster Natalka Didenko warned of dangerous weather
Forecasting expert Natalka Didenko reported on gradual warming in Ukraine and warned of a sharp change in the weather on February 5. According to her, the coming night will still remain cold in the northeast, but the general trend will be for an increase in temperature.
"Warming is coming to Ukraine. Although the coming night will still be cold in the northeast, the air temperature will still generally increase. So that we can at least somehow stick our heads out of this ice layer and breathe normal air," the weather forecaster noted.
According to the forecast, precipitation will not occur throughout the country on Wednesday.
"Tomorrow, snow will fall in the northern regions, in some places in the west and in the center. Dry weather will persist in the eastern regions and in a significant part of the south," Didenko reported.
She separately drew attention to the dangerous weather factor on Thursday.
"An important nuance! On Thursday, a strong southeast wind is expected in Ukraine, with gusts of up to 15–20 meters per second possible in places," the forecaster emphasized.
The air temperature at night will fluctuate from -5 to -12 degrees, in the northeast - up to -12–17, while in the west +2…+4 degrees are possible. In the afternoon of February 5, the warmest will be in the western regions and in the south - 0…+5 degrees. In most regions, -3…-8 degrees are expected, in the northeast - -8…-12.
In Kyiv, according to Didenko, the weather will change dramatically, jumps in atmospheric pressure, snow and ice, as well as strong southeast winds are possible.
"The combination of strong wind and still 'minus' can reduce the comfort temperature and throw us back into the severe frost," she noted.
At the same time, the weather forecaster is optimistic and urges not to focus only on the frost.
"Tomorrow we will all post photos with the highest daytime air temperature together, thus helping me to fulfill the forecast," Didenko added.
In the future, according to her, it will become a little warmer in Ukraine, but another cold snap is possible between February 9 and 11. After February 12, warming will again begin to replace severe frosts.
Let us remind you that the peak of frosts has passed, but a new wave of cold is coming from Scandinavia: the weather forecaster named the date of the weather change.
