In Kharkiv, electricity will not be turned off in houses where heating disappeared - Kharkiv Regional Military Administration
The authorities of the Kharkiv Region are reviewing the principles of energy supply after the massive russian strike, the main goal is to stabilize the network and provide maximum support to the districts that were left without heating.
This was stated by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on the air of the national telethon, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to him, the main task now is to stop unpredictable outages and give people at least minimal stability.
"We are trying to stabilize the situation - to move from emergency to planned power outages," said Syniehubov.
The authorities have set a clear priority: houses where the heating has stopped due to shelling must have electricity so that people can at least warm themselves with electrical appliances.
"First of all, attention is paid to where there are problems with heat supply. We will try not to disconnect electricity there," emphasized the head of the Regional Military Administration.
The situation remains tense not only in the regional center, but also in key nodes of the region.
"We are in constant coordination with the city of Kharkiv. The main task is to preserve the energy and heat infrastructure as much as possible and work on its restoration in parallel. There are also significant problems with energy supply in Lozova," he said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of February 3, russia again struck the DTEK thermal power plant: this is the ninth massive attack this winter.
After the night attack by the russian federation, two districts of Kyiv are without heat: DTEK has introduced emergency power outages.
