Greek company to deliver first LNG from US to Ukraine in March

The Greek joint venture Atlantic See LNG Trade has concluded the first agreement, which was signed on January 30, 2026, for the supply of LNG from the United States to Ukraine for delivery in March 2026.

ExPro publication writes about this, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The report says that according to the company, an LNG tanker from the United States will arrive at the Revithoussa terminal in Greece, after which the gas will be delivered to Naftogaz of Ukraine via a pipeline route through Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova

Delivery is scheduled for March 2026.

The maximum supply volume may reach 100 million cubic meters depending on the available capacities of gas transport operators involved in the transportation route.

Atlantic See LNG Trade is a joint venture between the Greek group Aktor and the state gas supplier DEPA Commercial.

The company noted that this agreement is the first contract for the supply of LNG to Ukraine.

Earlier, the new Greek company Atlantic SEE LNG signed a long-term contract with the American LNG producer Venture Global to purchase LNG from the US.

The import volume will be 0.7 billion cubic meters per year, starting in 2030.

The term of the contract is 20 years, until 2050.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in early November, Naftogaz Group signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Greek company ATLANTIC-SEE LNG TRADE S.A.
